Pete has spent his entire career in the non-profit sector. This began during his college years when, as one of Fraternity Management Group’s first employees, he helped manage capital campaigns and alumni relations initiatives. It didn’t take long for him to focus his career path on non-profit management, despite achieving his lifelong dream of graduating from the University of Arizona’s Race Track Industry Program (studying horse racing). Serving the non-profit sector for 30-plus years, Pete has impacted hundreds of charitable organizations by providing board development, branding, public awareness, and fundraising solutions. He is Founder and Managing Director of NPcatalyst LLC, which provides philanthropic connections and solutions to businesses and charities throughout the country. He is executive director of Pathways to Aviation, which recently expanded internationally due, in part, to a career readiness certification process Pete designed. He’s also Director of Development of the F C Cancer Foundation, where he’s also co-manager of its Fxck Cancer Endurance Club. Pete has a strong passion for creating opportunities and connections for anyone seeking career and philanthropic goals. He serves on several non-profit boards and councils, serving as an executive officer at My Hometown Heroes, Sierra Military Hospitality Services, U of A’s SierraCats Alumni Chapter, and Circle of Change Leadership. Pete is a two-time recipient of the University of Nevada’s Alumnus Advisor of the Year Award, the Reno-Tahoe Young Professionals Network’s Twenty Under 40 Award, and the Most Influential Community Leader of Reno/Tahoe Award. What he treasures most is spending time with his wife and children (Weber State grad, U of Arizona junior), running and cycling in the Sierra Nevadas, cheering on his Arizona Wildcats, and watching horse racing.
